I think the next time I go to France I would like to go back to Mont St. Michel. I have not been there in many years. Funny the things you remember – – as intriguing and thought-provoking and wonderful as it was to explore and learn about the church, I also remember being told that the surrounding tidal flats contained areas of quicksand, and that beyond that it was dangerous to walk out on the sand because the tide came in faster than a galloping horse.
