Charlotte Forten Park Dedicated

Following on the dedication of the Sarah Parker Remond Park, the city of Salem, Massachusetts, now has another, named for her friend, the African American anti-slavery activist, poet, diarist and teacher, Charlotte Forten.

  1. Marilyn, I have been doing research on the neoclassical American sculptor Louisa Lander. I established her date and place of death and have made some new attributions to her (maily lost) oeuvre.
