Paris Plaques

I was afraid such plaques were being removed; I seemed to see fewer over the years. This year, marking the 65th anniversary of the end of Nazi occupation, a website has been established to record them.

    that was last April, ironically with the church bells ringing. I think that for Jews who have grown up with the shadow of genocide the fact that it has taken the French so long to really owned this terrible history hits hard. I would hope that they are putting up more rather than less.
